Matthias Czabok Bio
Born in Nuremberg Germany in April of 1967, Matthias came to the US in 2001 and now holds dual citizenship (US and German Citizenship) after becoming a US citizen in 2008.
Matthias started racing early on riding 250cc, 350cc and 500cc GP bikes in Germany before switching to Open Wheel cars running the German Formula Renault Championship in 1994.
He soon switched his attention to the business side of racing and started representing past German Formula 1 driver Christina Danner as a marketing consultant agency in 1998.
Christian's connection to the US Indycar series also brought Matthias first into the US in 1999. First serving part time as VP of marketing for FedEx Champcar team PRG in 2000, Matthias became a minor part owner of newly formed FedEx Champcar outfit Blair Racing in 2001. The team later switched to the IRL series with driver Alex Barron for the 2002 season.
After spending two years in Chicago representing the team as a marketing agency and working for Sponsorship research publishing company Team Marketing Report Matthias found himself again in the driver seat running the ASA National tour series in 2004.
2004 was the last full time season involved in actual racing or team operation. Since then Matthias focus as been growing his own business Movement Arts and newly formed subdivision Matt's Pro.
He now
lives with his wife Andrea and dogs Higgens and Sport's in Exeter, Rhode
Island.
